Eric Saffin - First President of S.U.R.E.

Also in April 2008 Eric received from the local Lion President his Certificate of Appreciation for his invaluable humanitarian services to the Local Community.
In June 2009 he was made a Melvin Jones Fellow, through the Lions International Foundation, who said "It is the highest accolade conferred by the organisation and acknowledges Mr Saffin's dedication to humanitarian service, this is very rarely conferred on a non member of the Lions".
Again in 2009 Eric was recognised by U.K. Older Peoples Day, for his massive contribution to S.U.R.E.
February 2010 Eric was presented to the Duke Of Gloucester at the Beacon Centre for his outstanding services to S.U.R.E.
