The following donations have been received this week.
A fabulous £600 was raised by Victoria Park Bowling Club in Bridgwater following a Fun Day held on 20 July, which included various activities such as craft stalls, face painting, head massages and games etc. The day was rounded off with an evening quiz and raffle. The 20 teams taking part in the quiz included a team from the SURE committee and a team from Lloyds Bank, Bridgwater. The bank's manager, Sandra Kelsey, had already agreed with Gail Wills, the main organiser of the day's events and the Bowling Club match secretary and fundraiser, that the bank would match whatever was raised on the day. So that means a further £600 for SURE
