Donations Update 10th December 2023

The total donations recorded in this update is £3,171.83. Donations are £1,650 raised by SURE committee members at the SURE Christmas raffle, held at the Beacon Centre for the first time since 2019, with all of the raffle prizes having been donated. £1,000 from the Bridgwater Classic and Vintage Car club, raised at various events held throughout the year, £270.10 raised at Sarah’s Craft Day in Bridgwater on 2 December, a good result despite the freezing fog, and from collection pots there was £23.44 from The Emporium Somerset in Wellington, £17.42 from the Tea counter in the Beacon Centre reception, and £39.04 from the Minster Pharmacy, Ilminster, also from Minster Pharmacy there was £20.64 from their 5p collection and from the Beacon Centre there was £21.50, mainly in 5ps from J Morrish of Wellington, £17.30 in 5ps from the Wiveliscombe Arts Group, £35.55 mainly in 5ps from Nikki Mumby’s Gold Flexercise classes and £30 in 5ps from Miss T A Knight.
