Donations Update 14th December 2025

The total donations received this time is £2,045.06.Donations are an anonymous donation of £1,000. £350 from Martin Wale, who organised a dance in Chard last week, £260 from the Somerset Association of 16mm Narrow Gauge Modellers, raised at their annual Christmas gathering at Ash Priors Village Hall.  Many of those present have had good reason the thank the Beacon Centre over the years. £163.10 from Pat Potter raised at a recent Craft Fayre in Staplegrove Village Hall, this amount included 5ps and loose change.  £50 from Highbridge Bingo Club’s Chrsitams raffle, a donation from the Bingo club of £25 and £35 from Mr & Mrs Jones, Mrs Vera Watts and Angela Davies. £132.09 from John Walker and his band JW3 from their Spirit of Christmas concert at St John’s Church Wellington; makes £8,687.50, John and his friends have raised for SURE so far. £26.57 from the collection pot at Bishop’s Lydeard Newsagents, and in 5ps there was £2.10 from Wendy Pattenden and £1.10 from Ann Redman.    Thank you all for your donations
