In 5ps there was £23 from Jan Biddicombe and friends, £5 from Peter & Jacqui Curry, £5 from Jeff Merry, £16.20 from the Moose International Ladies Circle, an anonymous 5p donation of £10, £45 from the villagers of Kingston St Mary and £200 from North Petherton WI who also raised £8 at their meeting from the sale of donated items, donations also of £60 from Fiona Sheldon, £50 from John and Joan Leahy and £20 from Mary Daly, £65 raised by Mrs Jean Chillingworth from the sale of knitted toys in the pub of Mrs Sue Chillingworth, the Friendly Spirit, in Cannington, and left at the Beacon Centre was £33.90 in 5ps from Mrs & Mrs Dixon & friends, £33.85 in 5ps from John Bishop of Bridgwater, £70 in 5ps from Clare Pile and family (which makes a total of £721 they have raised so far), and £127.82 from the Beacon Centre mainly in 5ps.
