The total donations received this time is £4,852.40. Donations are £3,127 from Tesco Express, North Petherton, raised over the last 18 months by customers and staff by holding coffee mornings, quizzes, raffles, bingo events, lucky dips, fresh baked cake sales events, tombolas and from the collection pots in the store, £1,125 from the Santander bank in Bridgwater which is the fund matching amount for Bruce Cowd’s Motown event held in June 2023, £299 from the Emporium Somerset, Wellington raised from the sale of donated items by their traders in the shop, £62 donated following the SURE Christmas raffle at the Beacon Centre, £10 from Derek Thorne being his raffle money and £41.27 from the PayPal Giving Fund. From collection pots, there is £36.90 from Tesco Express, Kingsdown Bridgwater, £46.10 from Tesco Express, Bower Estate, Bridgwater, £21 from Wendy and Dave Smith in lieu of Christmas cards, £7.20 from Jenny Edwards in small change and in 5ps there is £15 from June Robinson and her elves, £1.70 from Valerie at Westonzoyland, and from the Beacon Centre/Musgrove Park Hospital there is £60.27, including £15 from Simon and Sarah.
