The event for the first outing of the new SURE gazebos was with The Blue Ridge Runners who chose S.U.R.E. as a charity this year.
Held in a field on the West Huntspill road behind the West Huntspill tyre business it was a party weekend for many American vintage car owners from all over the country. They arrived Friday night and had a meet up with friends.
On Saturday 120 displayed their cars by doing a run to Burnham On Sea through the main street and along the sea front. Sunday was show day for the public, a marquee with good bands playing all day, 60’s music mainly, fantastic.
Carole and Gail also ran a tombola during the day raising almost £60 whilst promoting the work of the charity.
Thanks go to the Lodge of Brotherly Love 329 Yeovil who donated a sum of £1000 to S.U.R.E. towards the purchase of the new logo signed gazebo.
Carole and Gail visited Instant Promotions in Bristol to view their gazebos, to put the framework up and down without covering, then did the same with the covering, before deciding to go ahead with the purchase. The service and help given by the Instant Promotions team was 2nd to none.
