Victoria Park Bowling club held its annual charity quiz in support of the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (S.U.R.E.) This was the ninth year that quizmasters Derek Thorne & Roger Evans managed to challenge the grey matter of over eighty quizzers in twenty teams raising £1,350 for the charity. On Saturday 16 September the Dog Show held at the Bell Inn, Creech St Micheal hosed by Stacey and Jordan and the Bell Inn Team.  The Judge was Vanessa Brooks-Oke and the supporters were Pete Austin, Jan Biddiscombe, Val and Roy West, Kathy and Fran Saffin and Roger Oaten, who organised and hosted the event. 

SURE supporters have been invited to take part in the charity donations collection at the Wellington Carnival next Saturday evening 30th September. The carnival sets off at 19:30.
