Christmas Craft Fair in aid of SURE on Saturday 2nd December from 12:00 – 16:00 @ The Shack/ Railway Club in Bridgwater, 103 Wellington Rd, Bridgwater TA6 5HA.

The total donations received this time is £1,541.80. Donations this week are £850 from Judith Heaphy of Minehead from the sale of plants. Judith has been raising money for SURE from her plant sales in her courtyard garden since 2018.  There is also £10 in 5ps from Vera Watts, £17.50 in 5ps  from Vera’s bingo

Victoria Park Bowling club held its annual charity quiz in support of the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment (S.U.R.E.) This was the ninth year that quizmasters Derek Thorne & Roger Evans managed to challenge the grey matter of over eighty quizzers in twenty teams raising £1,350 for the charity. On Saturday 16 September the Dog Show held at the Bell Inn, Creech St Micheal hosed by Stacey and Jordan and the Bell Inn Team.  The Judge was Vanessa Brooks-Oke and the supporters were Pete Austin, Jan Biddiscombe, Val and Roy West, Kathy and Fran Saffin and Roger Oaten, who organised and hosted the event. 

SURE supporters have been invited to take part in the charity donations collection at the Wellington Carnival next Saturday evening 30th September. The carnival sets off at 19:30. We need more volunteers to come along and take a bucket along the route, walking alongside the floats, to collect donations from the crowd. If you want
